Corp. Development Director
In partnership with his father in 1989 Scott purchased a small south London brokerage that has since evolved to become TPG. Hard work and a commercial focus helped to establish a successful family business. His energy is now largely directed towards high level networking, overseeing corporate relations with key trading partners and providing a wealth of experience and contacts for the company to draw upon.
FOUNDER / AMBASSADOR
Having founded the company in 1989 Peter’s entrepreneurial expertise guided the fledgling business through its first decade. Having handed management responsibilities to his offspring, his energies are now directed towards the company’s CSR committee in his role as a life long ambassador.
Having joined TPG in 2006 Norman has grown from being responsible solely for in-house software development to overseeing all areas of IT. He is a passionate believer in the transformational power of technology with over twenty years of industry experience. His intricate knowledge of the company and its workings enable him to bridge the gap between technological advances and business requirements.
A member of the TPG team from its very early stages Dan initially helped develop a thriving motor trade department. He has since progressed to head up all areas of sales and performance. With 20 years’ of management experience and sales knowledge within the business’s core markets he is perfectly placed to deliver TPG’s ambitious growth plans.
After 7 years at Friends Provident Nick successfully made the transition from life and pensions to general insurance with TPG. He started with the company in 2002 and progressed from commercial manager to operations manager before being appointed to the board in 2012. He has ultimate responsibility for system implementation, compliance, governance and MI reporting.
Grant originally rejoined the family firm in 2006 as Marketing Director. He successfully oversaw the business’s transformation into a digitally savvy brokerage. Working within a small, close knit and dynamic management team he has subsequently played a significant role in developing TPG’s overall business strategy. In November 2017, he stepped up to become MD of the group.
After being handed the reins to the family business in 2001, Ryan successfully moved the company away from personal lines towards niche commercial motor where brokers could demonstrate clear value to clients. This strategy proved very successful as Plan subsequently established itself as a go to brand for the UK’s commercial motorists. Ryan currently combines the role of TPG Chair with MD of its rapidly growing start-up brand, Yellow Jersey.
